Learn or refresh pottery wheel fundamentals: wedging, centering, shaping, trimming and basic glazing. For those ready to develop new skills, learn the fundamentals of throwing larger pieces, cylinders, handles and lids. Includes one 25lb bag of off-white clay that will be labeled and waiting for you on the 1st day of class.

Note: This class and a referral from your instructor are pre-requisite for students interested in Membership.
What to bring: Comfortable clothing, a hair tie for long hair and a water bottle. During winter months, please bring inside shoes (crocs or tennis shoes are great) to change into.
What not to bring: Food, clay or glaze. Shorter nails and no jewelry will make things easier too.
