Learn, refresh or master pottery wheel fundamentals with an introduction to, or review of, wedging, centering, shaping, trimming and glazing. For those ready to broaden their skill set, learn to throw larger pieces, cylinders, handles and lids. Learn from an exceptional teacher - a talented, engaging and thoughtful wheel instructor who will meet you wherever you are on your pottery journey.

  • Small class size to ensure focused instruction.

  • Access to Open Studio Hours for practice.

  • Note: This class and a referral from your instructor are pre-requisite for students interested in Membership.

Details

  • Clay: You will need one bag of Off-white clay. It can be purchased HERE and will be waiting for you on the 1st day of class.

  • What to bring: Comfortable clothing, a hair tie for long hair and a water bottle. During winter months, please bring inside shoes (crocs or tennis shoes are great) to change into.

  • What not to bring: Food, clay or glaze. Shorter nails and no jewelry will make things easier too.

  • Because we reserve a wheel just for you, classes are non-refundable.
