Explore the world of pots with lids - learn their mechanics, styles, how to make them, and functional & aesthetic considerations. We will also discuss handles and pouring elements as they relate to a lidded pot’s function and form.
This class will use both the pottery wheel and some hand-building/altering techniques.
Being able to center clay and pull cylinders on the wheel is a prerequisite as our primary focus is on what happens after those steps.
A great series to build upon foundational skills and explore possibilities!
Details:
$200 per student per class.
Each class is 3-hours including cleanup.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
12 Hours of dedicated instruction and practice.
8lbs. white clay, glazing and firing.
